This article will help you get started with using OPNET network simulator in the Computer Science Department at Kent State University.

Currently Opnet is installed on a Sun Solaris machine - jupiter.cs.kent.edu. Basically to run Opnet you need to have a XWindows based session established jupiter. To accomplish that you will need the following:

1. An account in the CS department. Usually a Graduate account has access to jupiter by default. If you are not able to log into jupiter then you can send a request to Dr. Hassan Peryavi <peyravi@cs.kent.edu>.
